Gecko in.clear

Gecko in.clear

Cleaner water. Less guesswork. More time to relax.

Hot tub water care can sound a bit much at first.

Chlorine. Bromine. pH. Alkalinity. Test strips. Filters. Floating dispensers.

If you’re new to hot tubs, it can feel like you need to learn a whole new language before you’ve even had your first soak.

Gecko in.clear makes it easier.

It’s an automatic bromine system that helps your hot tub produce its own sanitiser as the water circulates. That means cleaner, safer water with less manual dosing and less day-to-day guesswork.

More confidence. More comfort. More time in the water.

What is Gecko in.clear?

Gecko in.clear is a built-in water care system for selected hot tubs.

It helps produce bromine automatically inside the spa. Bromine is the sanitiser that helps keep your hot tub water clean, safe and ready to enjoy.

Instead of adding sanitiser by hand all the time, Gecko in.clear works in the background while your hot tub circulates the water.

You add a product called BromiCharge to the water, and the system uses it to create active bromine.

Simple to understand. Easy to live with.

Perfect if you’re buying your first hot tub.

What is Bromine?

Bromine is a sanitiser.

That means it helps kill bacteria and keeps your hot tub water clean, fresh and safe to bathe in.

Every time you use a hot tub, the water has to deal with real life. Sweat, body oils, deodorant, lotions, fake tan, hair products and tiny particles from your skin can all enter the water. That’s normal.

Bromine helps clean the water after use, so your hot tub stays more inviting between soaks.

It works a bit like chlorine, but many people prefer bromine in hot tubs because it performs well in warm water and often has a softer, less sharp smell.

So when you hear “bromine”, think of it like this:

It’s the water’s invisible cleaner, working quietly while you enjoy the bubbles.

Why should you care?

Because your hot tub should feel like a treat, not a task.

You want to lift the cover and see clear, inviting water.

You want to step in and feel relaxed.

You want to know the water’s being looked after properly, whether it’s a quiet evening soak for two or a weekend catch-up with friends.

Gecko in.clear helps make that easier.

It gives you a more consistent way to manage sanitiser, without a floating dispenser drifting around the spa and without as much manual dosing.

Fresh water. Less faff. More soaking.

That’s the point.

The simple version:

Gecko in.clear helps your hot tub make bromine.

Bromine helps keep the water clean.

You add BromiCharge to the water.

The in.clear system turns it into active bromine.

The bromine sanitises the water.

And you get a simpler water care routine.

How in.clear works:

1. Fill your hot tub

Start with fresh water and make sure the spa is circulating.

2. Balance the water

You’ll still check pH and alkalinity. This helps the water feel comfortable and easier to manage.

3. Add BromiCharge

BromiCharge is added directly into the hot tub water. It gives Gecko in.clear what it needs to create bromine.

4. The system creates bromine

As water moves through the hot tub, Gecko in.clear produces active bromine.

5. Bromine sanitises the water

The bromine helps keep the water clean, safe and ready for your next soak.

Bromo Boost for hot tubs

Meet Bromo Boost

BromiCharge is the ingredient Gecko in.clear needs.

It’s not a liquid you pour into a separate tank. It’s not a cartridge. It’s added directly to the hot tub water when the spa is filled.

Once it dissolves, Gecko in.clear uses it to produce bromine.

Think of it like this:

BromiCharge is the source.

Gecko in.clear is the system.

Bromine is the result.

How to use it

Maintenance mode keeps things steady

Maintenance mode is the everyday setting.

It tells Gecko in.clear how much bromine to produce when the hot tub isn’t being used.

Once it’s set correctly, it helps maintain a steady background bromine level in the water. The usual target range with Gecko in.clear is 3 to 5 ppm.

Too low? The setting may need increasing.

Too high? The setting may need reducing.

Once it’s right, you shouldn’t need to keep changing it every day.

It’s water care with a rhythm.

Boost mode is for after bathing

When people use the hot tub, the water has more to deal with.

Sweat. Body oils. Lotions. Hair products. All the normal things that come with real life.

Boost mode tells Gecko in.clear to produce extra bromine after bathing, helping the water recover after use.

As a general guide, the Boost level usually matches the number of people who used the spa.

Two people used it? Set Boost to 2.

Four people used it? Set Boost to 4.

Then test and adjust if needed.

Benefits of using Gecko in.clear for your hot tub

Less manual dosing

You’ll still look after your water, but Gecko in.clear helps reduce the need to manually add sanitiser all the time.

No floating dispenser

No bromine dispenser bobbing around while you’re trying to relax. The system is built in.

More consistent sanitising

A steady bromine level is easier to manage than levels that keep rising and falling.

Great for first-time owners

If water care makes you nervous, Gecko in.clear gives you a clearer routine to follow.

Well suited to warm spa water

Bromine is often a popular choice for hot tubs because it works well in warmer water.

A softer bathing experience

Many people find bromine less sharp-smelling than chlorine, which can make the whole spa experience feel more comfortable.
