Cut Your Energy Bills and Control Your Climate with Gecko in.temp™
Upgrade your hot tub experience with the Gecko in.temp heat pump. Designed to replace or work alongside your standard electric heater, this smart air-source heat pump is the most efficient way to heat - or cool - your spa water.
If you are looking to slash your monthly electricity costs then the Gecko in.temp is the ultimate plug-and-play solution.
Why Upgrade to a Gecko Heat Pump?
Huge Energy Savings: By using the ambient air to heat your water rather than just electricity, the in.temp can reduce your heating costs by up to 75% compared to standard heating elements.
Total Climate Control (Heat & Cool): It doesn’t just heat. With six distinct modes, you can cool your water down on hot summer days or for sports recovery therapy.
Seamless Integration: No extra remotes or complicated wiring. The in.temp connects directly to your compatible Gecko control system, meaning you control the heat pump right from your existing topside keypad or mobile app.
Quiet Operation: Engineered to be whisper-quiet, ensuring your relaxation isn't interrupted by loud machinery.
Plug & Play: Powered directly by your spa pack, avoiding the need for expensive new electrical circuit installations in most residential setups.
Which Model Do I Need?
We offer two sizes to ensure peak performance for your specific setup.
1. The 5kW Model (in.temp-H5.0)
- Best For: Standard residential hot tubs (up to ~1,500 litres).
- The Sweet Spot: Perfect for maintaining temperature efficiently in typical UK weather.
2. The 7.5kW Model (in.temp-H7.5)
- Best For: Large hot tubs, Swim Spas, or tubs in exposed/very cold locations.
- The Powerhouse: Offers faster heat-up times and the extra power needed to maintain heat in larger bodies of water.
Note: Performance varies based on ambient air temperature. The warmer the air outside, the more efficient the heat pump becomes!
Which to choose?
Choose 5 kW if:
- The tub is a typical household 4–6 seater.
- It has decent insulation.
- It’s not in a particularly exposed garden.
- You want the most install-friendly option with plenty of compatibility.
Choose 7.5 kW if:
- The tub is large, 7–8 seater or deeper than average.
- The insulation is mediocre, or the tub loses heat quickly.
- The environment is cold or exposed.
- You want faster heat-up times or constant high use (holiday lets, rentals).
