A question we're often asked at H2O Hot Tubs... what's the best hot tub temperature?
If you've just bought a hot tub, you might be wondering this, too. To be honest, there's no black & white answer to this question, it's almost entirely down to personal preferences.
What we recommend for finding the best hot tub temperature for you is... heat to about 38°C and then gradually drop it by 1°C at a time, until you find the right temperature for you.
When you're in your hot tub, it's very easy to become hot or dehydrated if you have the water temperature too high. Many of our customers love the water to be hot hot hot... but some prefer something around the 30°C mark because it's more comfortable for a longer period of time.
The hotter the water, the better it will be for muscle relaxation, especially after a sporting activity or a gym session! An added benefit of lowering the temperature is that the heater won't need to work as hard, so you will save some money on your electricity bill!
Let us know in the comments what sort of temperature you think is best for your hot tub, we're always keen to hear people's opinions on this sometimes controversial topic!
